- This product is factory finished. Please handle with extreme care. Failure to do so will nullify the warranty.
- Installation Company is required to use only approved installation parts (screws, bolts, etc.). In order to maximize the longevity of the products and avoid nullifying the warranty. (Refer to Product Approvals for Material List).
- During installation it is imperative that the Windows and Doors be protected from other chemicals that might damage the finish, hardware or glass.
- Avoid exposing Windows and Doors to any of the construction chemicals, one of the most common problems is stucco run-off and concrete splashing which must be removed immediately in order to prevent the caustic agents in these materials damaging windows and doors. Thoroughly clean Windows and Doors immediately after installation. Before any cleaning, review the Care & Maintenance Instructions. Contact your local dealer with any questions or concerns.
- La Finestra recommends that professional cleaning companies be employed to perform the initial cleaning process. Products should be cleaned when shaded.. Use a clean, soft, damp cloth to polish or remove finger prints and dirt from window, door & hardware
- Keep operating mechanisms clean of debris at all times. Consult authorized dealers before using any lubricants. Keep all handles free of salt deposits and oils.
- La Finestra Windows and Doors require reasonable care prior to and during installation and periodic cleaning and maintenance after installation. La Finestra products have exceptional resistance to corrosion, discoloration but its natural beauty can be marred by harsh chemicals, rough conditions or neglect. Even though, such conditions usually affect only the surface finish and do not reduce the service life of the product periodic maintenance prevents long-term accumulation of soil, which, under certain conditions, can accelerate weathering of the finish.
WARNING: Do not use any chemicals, organic solvents, abrasive cleansers, bleaches, polishes, household cleaners, window cleaning solutions or other such substance that can damage the products’ finish. The chemicals and abrasives listed above may remove hardware protective coatings or damage Windows and Doors. Do not strike Windows, Doors or hardware with any sharp objects or keys this may damage the finish on the products.
