Care & Maintenance – Owner

1. Hardware on Windows and Doors must be cleaned and debris removed every six (6) months.
2. Aluminum profiles and glass must be cleaned with water and a mild soap every six (6) months. Glass surfaces can be cleaned with a commercial glass cleaner and paper towels as needed.
3. It is recommended to apply “silicon lubricant 3M” or furniture oils (like “Old English”) after cleaning the painted surface, to enhance and preserve the beauty of the paint.
4. Products installed close to high salinity areas or within 1 mile of coastal regions should be maintained at half the intervals stated above. Products installed on beach front properties may require more frequent maintenance based on actual site conditions such as blowing sand and salt water spray.
5. Proper maintenance is mandatory for the warranty to be in effect. All product warranties are void unless the products are maintained according to our “Care and Maintenance” instructions.

IMPORTANT: To prevent corrosion and any malfunction of the mechanisms the Buyer and/or User must keep all surfaces clean from any sand, dust, dirt, salt, etc. If any or all moving parts of the mechanism do not move smoothly the Buyer and/or User has to make sure that there is no sand, dust, dirt, salt, etc. interfering with its proper function.
Protect all exposed surfaces from contact with caustics, corrosives, solvents and abrasions, impacts. Failure to do so will nullify the warranty.
