TEN (10) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY – CONTINENTAL USA
The limited warranty described in this document is expressed warranty applicable to La Finestra Windows and Doors. This limited warranty may not be modified or expanded by any one.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY WILL EXPIRE AT THE END OF THE 10 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY. INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED AND LA FINESTRA’S LIABILITY WILL IN ALL INSTANCES BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
La Finestra windows and doors glazed with impact-resistant and isulated impact glass are warranted to be free from defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship for a period of Ten (10) years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty applies to windows and doors under normal use, as determined by La Finestra in its sole discretion.
La Finestra’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement as determined by La Finestra, at its option, and does not include removal, installation, trim repair or replacement, stucco or other finishes. The original limited warranty period will not be extended by supplying replacement parts.
La Finestra products were tested in accordance with Miami-Dade County code requirements and approved by Miami-Dade Product Control Division. Certain conditions may exist during tropical storms, hurricanes or tornados that may exceed these code requirements. Claims under the warranties must be made within 60 days of the appearance of a defect.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON OTHER COMPONENTS – USA
a. Weather Stripping: Ten (10) Year Limited
b. Sealants: Ten (10) Year Limited against adhesion failure
c. Laminated Glass: Ten (10) Year Limited against delaminating or color change
Disclosure:Â Â Â Company uses heat strengthened glass, which may present wavy appearance and some distortion. Minor glass imperfections including curvature of glass due to atmospheric conditions may exist but do not affect normal vision or product performance.
FIVE (5) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY – EXPORT
The standard La Finestra warranty applies with the following exceptions:
All warranty coverage’s of ten (10) years are reduced to five (5) years. La Finestra will provide replacement parts in its sole discretion, but will not be responsible for doing on-site inspections or warranty repairs. Coverage for stress cracks is excluded outside the USA.
